 | I hit this deer the last day of the Pa. archery season. The problem is i hit a branch before the arrow hit the deer. good blood trail for 20 yds. i come back 3 hrs later and jump the deer. No more blood. I look until dark with no luck. I went in 2 other times looking for the deer but found nothing. I fighured the deer was still alive so i set out for him in rifle season. i hunt the area the Friday of the first week and at 3:30 he walks in front of me.
Not the biggest i shot but the first one i shot with a bow and a rifle.Frank Kast
